Northern governors demand action over killing of Kaduna travellers

The Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and Governor of Gombe Convey, Inuwa Yahaya, has condemned the horrible killing of harmless travellers from Kaduna Convey in Mangu Local Government, Plateau Convey.

The victims, who had been reportedly en route to assist a bridal ceremony, had been ambushed and brutally murdered by unscrupulous childhood in the dwelling.

Governor Inuwa, in an announcement issued by his media aide, Isma’ila Uba Misilli, on Sunday, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives, describing the incident as a “barbaric and cowardly act that has no plot in a civilised society.”

“I'm deeply saddened by this horrific and inhumane attack. Such mindless violence in opposition to harmless residents is unacceptable and have to be met with swift and decisive justice,” the governor talked about.

He extended his condolences to the bereaved families plagued by the attack and commended the security companies for his or her rapidly response, in particular the arrest of suspects linked to the incident.

He called for an intensive investigation and urged prosecution of all those alive to to make certain that justice is served.

“The perpetrators of this injurious crime have to be delivered to justice straight away. Right here's no longer perfect about accountability; it is about restoring faith in the rule of thumb of laws and conserving the rights of every Nigerian citizen,” he added.
