"I am not a drug addict, I don't smoke, drink or even party" – Blessing CEO breaks silence on drug claims

Popular Nigerian relationship therapist and social media personality Blessing CEO has strongly denied allegations of drug use, insisting that she has never been involved in smoking, drinking alcohol or taking illegal substances.

Blessing made the clarification during a recent interview following her release from custody, where she addressed several rumours and allegations that circulated on social media while she was detained.

During the interview, she was confronted with claims suggesting that she had been struggling with substance use and needed rehabilitation or professional help rather than business opportunities.

However, the controversial relationship therapist dismissed the allegations, describing them as false and misleading.

"I am not a drug addict. I do not smoke, drink, and I do not even party," she stated.

According to Blessing, many of the stories circulated about her on social media have little or no connection to her actual lifestyle.

She expressed frustration over what she described as the growing habit of internet users creating and spreading damaging narratives about public figures without verifying their claims.

Blessing maintained that being controversial or frequently discussed online should not give people the freedom to make unfounded accusations about her personal life.

Her remarks have once again drawn attention to the challenges celebrities and internet personalities face when rumours about their private lives spread across social media.

While Blessing has firmly rejected the allegations, the claims remain unsubstantiated, and no verified evidence of illegal drug use was presented in the account of the interview.

Nigerian businessman and cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has attracted attention on social media after reportedly gifting a car to one of his most dedicated employees.

The businessman, known for his involvement in technology and other business ventures, reportedly presented the vehicle to the worker in recognition of their commitment, loyalty and contributions to the growth of the business.

The generous gesture has drawn positive reactions, with many people praising Blord for recognising the efforts of someone who has contributed to his company's success.

In a society where employees often complain about poor treatment, inadequate salaries and a lack of appreciation from employers, such gestures serve as a reminder that dedication and hard work deserve recognition.

For many workers, receiving a car from an employer would be more than an ordinary gift. It could ease transportation difficulties, reduce daily expenses and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Blord's reported act of generosity also highlights the importance of building a workplace where employees feel valued and appreciated.

While business owners are often celebrated for their financial achievements, the people working behind the scenes also play important roles in helping those businesses succeed.

The development has sparked conversations about how employers can motivate their workers through recognition, fair treatment and meaningful rewards.

There is something encouraging about a successful businessman remembering the people who work hard to help him succeed.

Congratulations to the lucky employee, and commendation to Blord for this thoughtful gesture.

What do you think about employers rewarding loyal and hardworking staff with gifts such as cars, houses or financial support? Should more Nigerian business owners adopt this practice?
