Military conducts sanitation exercise in Rivers ahead of Army Day celebration
The Nigerian Military 6 Division Headquarters has performed a sanitation exercise alongside Igwuruta-Etche Street and Elele in Ikwerre Local Council of Rivers Direct as section of activities leading up to the 162nd Nigerian Military Day Party (NADCEL) 2025.
The tournament, held on Saturday in Umuakpa Neighborhood and Elele, eager troops clearing heaps of refuse alongside the roads. Talking to newshounds at the exercise, Brigadier Total Emmanuel Adamu, Chief of Team of workers of the Division, who represented the Total Officer Commanding (GOC), Predominant Total Emmanuel Eric Emekah, acknowledged that the initiative aimed to do away with consciousness about the forthcoming Nigerian Military Day get together and enhance civil-military family.
“The Nigerian Military Day get together is a yearly tournament famed on July 6 to commemorate the sacrifices of the Nigerian Military to the nation,” acknowledged Brigadier Total Adamu.
