Coalition demands justice for victims of mass killings, extra-judicial executions

The National Coalition In opposition to Mass Killings, Extra-Judicial Killings, Mob Actions and Impunity (NCAMKI) has referred to as for urgent justice for victims of mass killings and extra-judicial executions across Nigeria, preserving both express and non-express actors accountable for years of violence and impunity.

In an announcement titled “Never Forgotten, Never Forgiven – Unless Justice is Served,” the coalition vowed to doc every incident, honour the memory of victims, and press for the prosecution of perpetrators.

“From the charred ruins of Odi to the blood-soaked sanctuary of Owo, Nigeria’s soil is stained by the blood of innocent voters—slain by both these sworn to provide protection to and folk that kill with impunity,” the assertion read.

NCAMKI highlighted essential incidents of mass killings, collectively with the Odi and Zaki Biam massacres, the killing of Shiite contributors in Zaria, the #EndSARS taking pictures at Lekki Toll Gate, the Owo church attack, and most up-to-date killings in Yelwata and Kurfi.

The coalition printed it is compiling an archive of killings inspiring security agents, terrorists, and mobs. “This archive will give a take to court circumstances, media advocacy, and public consciousness,” the neighborhood mentioned.
